Below is the clay mould and the raw fibreglass shell. It was fantastic to have the opportunity to make such a large sculpture and to have time to experiment with resins and releasing methods. After some trial and error I found that I could make the face remarkably thin, about 2mm. ​I developed this project further with the excellent Jo Portus.
